One Response to “Where Have All The Spaniards Gone?”

  1. Tony Shepherd Says:

Jonathan’s interview with his father about Spain disturbed me. Jonathan sounded patronizing, sarcastic, and like he was deliberately trying to make his father’s words come across as humorous. Didn’t work for me. Seeping through his tongue-in-cheek interview were drops of insight into the mind of a person revisiting a place that helped to make him who he has become, decades later…that would have been very interesting to hear. Oh well.
